Information You Provide

• Birth Details: Date, time, and location of birth for astrological calculations
• Name: Optional display name for personalization
• Phone Number: For account verification and sign-in via SMS

Information Collected with Your Permission

• Contacts: Accessed only with your explicit consent. Used to find friends already on Mother Moon and to send invitations to selected contacts. Your contacts remain on your device and are never uploaded to our servers without your explicit consent. You can opt-out anytime through your device settings.
• Microphone: Used only for voice communication with the Cosmic Guide AI feature. Audio is processed in real-time and not stored.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate Astrological Reports: Your birth details are used to calculate personalized astrological insights
• Social Features: With your consent, help you connect with friends on the app
• SMS Invitations: Send invitations to contacts you explicitly select
• Improve User Experience: Enhance app features and functionality

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: Most of your data is stored locally on your device
• Encryption: All data transmission uses industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+)
• No Bulk Upload: We never upload your entire contact list
• Selective Sharing: Only information you explicitly choose to share is transmitted

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini: For generating astrological insights (anonymized data only)
• LiveKit: For voice communication with Cosmic Guide (real-time processing only)
• Supabase: For secure user authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: For managing subscriptions and in-app purchases
• PostHog: For anonymized analytics to improve app experience
• Twilio: For delivering SMS verification codes and friend invitations
• Sentry: For crash reporting and error monitoring

Subscriptions

Mother Moon offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("Moon Pro") and one-time report purchases. Subscriptions are billed monthly through your Apple ID and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data
• Delete: Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt-Out: Disable contacts access or any permission at any time

Children's Privacy

Mother Moon is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
